Quality
instruction is a result of our highly trained and
motivated staff. All of our instructors are currently
cheering or have former experience cheering at the
collegiate level. We pride ourselves on continuous
training and each of our instructors are CPR and
First Aid certified. Additionally, United Cheerleading
has a certification program that all instructors
are required to pass before being allowed to teach
in any Training Center.

Heath
Perkins Owner/ Instructor graduated
from The University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in Management
Information Systems. He also received his M.B.A. from
Norwich University in Vermont. While in college Heath
cheered for the University of Georgia and Austin Peay
State University. Heath also performed in the opening
ceremonies of the 1996 Centennial Olympics in Atlanta,
Georgia. Heath has over 15 years of cheerleading coaching
experience and has coached competitive cheerleading
teams to numerous regional, state, and national titles.
Additionally, he has helped Columbus State University
become one of the top Division II cheerleading programs
in the Nation. Heath is also an Instructor for the
School of Applied Business at Columbus Technical
College. Heath is Emergency First Responder,
CPR, and AED for children/ adult and First Aid instructor.

Javarus
Warren
All-Star Director/
Instructor
graduated
from Florida International University with a degree
in Physical Science and a minor in Dance. He is a
former member of the nationally ranked cheerleading
team at FIU. Additionally, he coached the
cheerleading squad at FIU after he graduated and for
Top Gun All-Stars. Javarus has been coaching for
over ten years, and during that span won several
national championships with high school and all-star
teams. Javarus is also appearing in the movie
‘Bring It On 4’, and was in the musical “Cheers”.
Javarus is certified through the United
Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification and
Emergency First Response and is CPR certified.

Joey
Gill
Office Manager/ Instructor
graduated from Winder-Barrow High School. He cheered
for five years with Columbus State University and
finished in the top five every year. His last year
in college he received the Rebecca “Granny” Davis
Award (cheerleader of the year). Joey also cheered
for two years in high school and on all-stars, where
he won many regional and national titles. He has
coached cheerleading and tumbling for nine years,
and has coached teams to over fifty regional, state
and national titles. Joey is certified through the
United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety
Certifications and the Emergency First Responder for
the first aid and CPR.

Clint
Perkins Assistant
Manager/ Instructor
graduated
from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s
Degree in Health and Nutrition Science. Clint was
the captain of the Division 1 cheer team at Georgia
Southern University. He led the GSU Eagles to three
consecutive top five finishes at the UCA College Nationals.
Clint also performed in the opening ceremonies of
the 1996 Centennial Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.
Additionally, he was a member of the UCA staff for
four years. Clint is certified through the United
Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification,
and Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Mandy
Claborn
All-Star Director/ Instructor graduated
from Shiloh High School and Columbus State
University. Mandy currently teaches Pre-K at St.
Thomas. Additionally, she was a part of the
competition cheerleading squad all four years of
high school. The squad placed first at the State
Competition in 2002. She was also a three time
All-American cheerleader. Mandy is a member of the
Columbus State University Cheerleading squad and has
been for four years now. The team placed second in
2004 and second in 2005 at UCA College Nationals.

Marquise Strong
Summer Camp Director/
Instructor
graduated from Shiloh High
School. Marquise is a former member of the
nationally ranked Columbus State University large
coed cheerleading squad and also cheered for three
years as a member of the S.W.A.T Team, Shiloh's
Varsity competition team. He was a member of the
2002 State Championship team and was an All-American
in 2003. He also won numerous individual stunt-off
honors in both high school and with all-stars. He
has been coaching cheerleading and tumbling for more
than five years and has won numerous regional and
national championships. Marquise is certified
through the United Cheerleading Instructor and
Safety Certification and Emergency First Response
and is CPR certified.

Ashley
Short
Instructor
graduated
from Upson-Lee High School. Ashley is a current member
of the national champion Columbus State University
Cheerleading Squad, and is majoring in Early Childhood
Education. She has competed with All-Stars for six
years and was a squad member of the United Retic Pythons
for three years. Ashley holds many national and regional
titles with All-Stars. As captain of the her varsity
cheerleading squad, she was awarded "best flyer"
for three years of high school, and was also an All-State
cheerleader. Ashley is certified through the United
Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification,
and Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Steven Torres Instructor graduated from
Central High School. Steven is a former member of
the North American Sport Karate Association Tour,
where he was the National and World Champion in
Men’s Forms for four years in a row. Steven has
instructed karate and tumbling for over seven years,
and has been coaching cheerleading for over four
years. Steven is certified through the United
Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification,
and the Emergency First Responder for first aid and
CPR.

Danielle Graves
Office Secretary/ Instructor
graduated from Columbus State University with a Bachelor's degree in
early childhood education. Danielle is currently a
first grade teacher and attending Columbus State
University in pursuit of her Master's degree in
Educational Leadership. She was a collegiate
cheerleader on the Nationally Ranked Columbus State
Cheerleading squad for 4 years. Danielle is
certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor
and Safety Certification, and the Emergency First
Responder for first aid and CPR

Kash Keifer
Instructor
attended West Virginia University and graduated from
the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Biology. Was a member of the WVU
cheerleading team, then played on the Mountaineers
football team. He later transferred to Maine
where he played football for three years. Kash also
cheered for the University of Maine his senior year
and attended NCA Nationals in Daytona. Kash worked
for UCA staff for 3 years. He has been tumbling for
18 years and cheering for 12. Kash is certified
through the United Cheerleading Instructor and
Safety Certification and Emergency First Responder
and is CPR/ ACCAA certified.

Bill
Weathers Instructor graduated from Baldwin High School.
He is now attending Columbus State University, majoring
in Biology. During his first year at Columbus State
Bill was a member of the 2nd place CSU Large Co-ed
cheerleading team. He has coached competitive cheerleading
and gymnastics for over five years. Bill was a member
of the Force Elite All-Stars in Snellville, Georgia.
During his time at Force he won multiple national
titles in the Senior Large Co-Ed Advanced, Small
Co-Ed Advanced, and Open divisions. Bill is certified
through the United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety
Certification and Emergency First Responder and
is CPR certified. |

Christina Cox
Instructor
graduated from Kennesaw Mountain High School she
cheered for three years. She was a member of the
Varsity Squad her Sophomore and Senior year which
included a regional championship and state
finalist. Christina is currently a member of the
Columbus State Cheerleading program and claimed the
National Championship title in 2008. Christina
is currently majoring in Biology with aspirations of
someday working as a research scientist. Christina
is certified through the United Cheerleading
Instructor and Safety Certification, and the
Emergency First Responder for first aid and CPR.

Tice
Instructor graduated
from Winder-Barrow High School. Lane is attending
Columbus State University majoring in Business Administration.
He is a former member of the State Champion Cheer
Doggs at Winder-Barrow High School. Lane is a current
member of the Columbus State cheerleading squad. Lane
was a part of the 2005 UCA Division II Small Coed
National Champions. Lane is certified through the
United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certifications
and the Emergency First Responder for the first aid
and CPR.

graduated from Harris County High
School. During her high school career she cheered on
Harris County’s Varsity cheerleading team for one
year. She also cheered on all stars for over 7
years. Casey also has over 4 years experience
coaching cheerleading, tumbling, and has worked with
several local school teams. She is currently
attending Columbus Tech majoring in Radiological
Technology. Casey is certified through the United
Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certifications

is a Shaw High School graduate and is currently
majoring in Business Management at Columbus State
University. Brittny was a member of the Shaw High
School cheerleading squad for 3 years and cheered as
a Python All-Star for 4 years of which include an
undefeated season and more than 15 various national
titles. Brittny is
certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor
and Safety Certification, and Emergency First

Office Secretary/Instructor
is a graduate of Lassiter High School. She currently
attends Columbus State University as a Marketing
major. Molly cheered all 4 years of high school and
competed for several national titles on her all star
team. As a Columbus State University cheerleader,

graduated from Coffee County High School. Meek also
graduated from Faulkner State Community College with
an Associate’s Degree. He currently attends Columbus
State University and his major is Business

tumbling and cheerleading. He was also a finalist
for Cheersport’s “So you think you can tumble”. Meek
is certified through the United Cheerleading
Instructor and Safety Certification and Emergency
First Responder and is CPR certified.

Dominic Watts
Instructor
graduated from Coffee High School. Dominic cheered
for one year in high school then went on to cheer
for Faulkner State Community College for two years.
He then enrolled at Columbus State University and
cheered for CSU for 2 years. Dominic is majoring in
Health and Physical Education. Dominic is
certified through the United Cheerleading Instructor
and Safety Certification and Emergency First
Responder and is CPR certified.

Marshall Hagin
Instructor
graduated from Winder-Barrow
High School. Marshall cheered for Winder for 3 years
and during which time they won several
regional/local competitions. Additionally, his
all-star team finished in the top 10 in the country
at The Cheerleading World's. Marshall is
currently attending Columbus State University
majoring in Kinesiology. He is a member of the CSU
cheerleading team and a member of the Python
All-Stars. Marshall is certified through the United
Cheerleading Instructor and Safety Certification,

Jorge Lazano
Instructor
graduated from Winder-Barrow High School. Jorge
cheered in high school for 3 years. Jorge currently
attends Columbus State University and is majoring in
International Business. He was selected as an
all-American high school cheerleader his Junior
year. Jorge also caught national recognition as a
5th grader by making it to the "final 50" in the
Spelling Bee. Jorge is a member of the Columbus
State University cheerleading team and a member of
the Python all stars. Jorge is certified through the
United Cheerleading Instructor and Safety
